There is great real estate news for the Central West End:  Swedish retailer Ikea has made it official, they will be opening a store in 2015 in the CWE.  The store will be 2 stories high and will  have 380,000 square feet.  It will be located in the Cortex redevelopment area, at the southwest corner of  Forest Park Avenue and Vandeventer Avenue.  The major land owner currently on the site is Laclede Gas Company.
